The Master of Applied Science (MASc) in Biomedical Engineering at UBC is a research-based graduate program that offers training in the core areas of biomedical engineering, combining engineering, life sciences, and medicine. Students complete at least 30 credits of graduate-level courses, including a major research thesis (12 credits), under faculty supervision. The program equips graduates for careers in research and development, industry, healthcare, or further PhD study.
