The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) at UBC's Faculty of Arts is a four-year undergraduate program focused on intensive artistic and professional practice, theory, and research. Students select from five specializations: Acting, Creative Writing, Film Production, Theatre Design and Production, or Visual Art. Each specialization combines practical studio work with academic coursework, fostering creative development and industry-specific skills. Students may enter directly after secondary school or transfer from another post-secondary institution. Program options include single or double majors, honours, and a dual degree (BFA + Master of Management).
