The EDID cohort within the UBC Bachelor of Education program (Faculty of Education, 2025/26 intake) is designed to prepare future educators for schools serving increasingly diverse populations. Candidates deepen curricular and pedagogical knowledge regarding equity, diversity, inclusion, and decolonization. Practicum placements occur in selected Burnaby and New Westminster schools, where candidates work in cross-curricular inquiry settings.
