The Master of Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Malaya, is designed to produce graduates with advanced analytical, critical, and evaluative skills in Malaysian and international commercial law. The program is coursework-based, conducted physically on campus, and covers a comprehensive spectrum of commercial law topics such as international commercial transactions, privacy law, information technology law, corporate governance, arbitration, intellectual property, maritime, fintech, Islamic finance, and more. Total credits required: 44. The curriculum includes core modules (research methodology, international commercial transactions, research project, Malaysian legal system for international students) and a wide range of electives. The program aims to prepare professionals for complex challenges in legal and business environments and supports career advancement in both public and private sectors.
