The Master of Project Management programme at the Faculty of Built Environment (FBE), University of Malaya, trains students to become knowledgeable and competent project management professionals who are ethically and socially responsible and sensitive to sustainability. The curriculum is multidisciplinary, focusing on core areas like project management principles, investment and financial management, strategic management, value and risk management, with elective scope in related areas such as health and safety, IT, law, and asset management. A research component in project management trains students in scientific problem solving. The programme is suitable for professionals from varied backgrounds (engineering, management, manufacturing, etc.) and is accredited by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
