The Bachelor of Building Surveying program at the University of Malaya (Faculty of Built Environment) is a full-time undergraduate degree designed to produce ethical and professional Building Surveyors and Property Managers. The curriculum addresses skills and knowledge for managing the lifecycle of buildings, from planning and construction to maintenance, conservation, and redevelopment. The programme covers construction technology, structural principles, building services, building pathology, built environment law, building inspection and survey, property and facilities management, and project management. The program includes compulsory industrial training and is accredited by the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, UK (RICS).
