The Bachelor of Computing (Honours) in Artificial Intelligence programme at the National University of Singapore School of Computing offers comprehensive education in the foundations and advanced areas of AI. Students gain rigorous theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills across machine learning, neural networks, natural language processing, computer vision, and reasoning/decision making. The curriculum builds expertise for the fast-evolving AI sector with a focus on responsible and ethical AI, preparing graduates for leading AI-centric roles or further studies. The programme combines fundamental computing, mathematics (e.g., discrete structures, calculus, linear algebra, probability and statistics), and advanced AI system design and applications. Students complete a minimum of 160 units, and may pursue an honours dissertation for distinction. Graduates are expected to develop, evaluate, and implement intelligent systems, with an understanding of social, ethical, and governance issues connected to AI applications.
