The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Data Science and Economics (DSE) is a cross-disciplinary programme offered by the Faculty of Science (Department of Statistics and Data Science, Department of Mathematics) and the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (Department of Economics) under the NUS College of Humanities and Sciences. The programme is designed to equip students with strong foundational knowledge in data science and economics, integrating key skills from mathematics, computing, and theoretical and empirical economic analysis, to address real-world business and societal challenges. Graduates of the programme will acquire critical reasoning, analytical skillsets and data scientific methods, preparing them for complex economic and data-driven decision making in both the public and private sectors.
