This double master's degree is jointly offered by the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Students earn both a Master of Arts (MA) in Global Media and Communication from USC and a Master of Science (MSc) in Global Media and Communications from LSE. The first year is completed at LSE in London, focusing on theoretical and methodological foundations in media and communication within global, political, social and cultural contexts. In the second year at USC Annenberg in Los Angeles, students deepen their studies with elective courses, undertake a research thesis or group research project, and are required to complete an internship/practicum. The program is designed for those seeking advanced knowledge and international experience in global media studies, preparing graduates for positions in media, technology, advertising, business, NGOs, and related fields.
