USC Bovard College's Master of Science in Emergency Management (MSEM) prepares professionals for leadership in the emergency management sector, both public and private. The curriculum covers disaster planning, critical infrastructure, and operational coordination, with an emphasis on developing strategic, tactical, and decision-making skills usable at local, state, and federal levels. Students gain the ability to collaborate across governmental, non-profit, and business sectors, addressing topics like climate change, public health emergencies, and complex cross-border disasters. The program is available in a 1-year accelerated track or a 2-year track, delivered online to accommodate working professionals. No GRE is required, and there are three admission cycles per year.
