USC Keck School of Medicine’s Master of Science in Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine is an intensive one-year program (optionally two years with a research component) focused on the scientific and clinical foundations of stem cell biology and regenerative medicine. The curriculum includes core lecture courses on developmental cell biology, human embryology, stem cell biology, regenerative medicine, and translational/therapeutic technologies. Students receive extensive hands-on laboratory training and the opportunity for additional research in a second year culminating in a thesis. Graduates are prepared for further study in medicine or a PhD, or careers in industry, academia, public policy, or regulatory roles within the rapidly expanding stem cell field.
