USC Gould School of Law's Master of Laws (LLM) in Business Law is a rigorous 24-unit, one-year program providing a robust foundation in business law, with options for both full-time on-campus and part-time online study. Launched in Fall 2024, the program is tailored for law graduates (JD, LLB, or equivalent) seeking to develop diverse business and negotiation skills. The curriculum covers key areas such as corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, antitrust, AI, intellectual property, taxation, and bankruptcy. Students build practical skills for advising startups, venture capital firms, and navigating complex business-driven legal frameworks. International students must complete an introduction to U.S. Legal System course. The program offers start dates in both fall and spring semesters and includes numerous elective options, with selected courses potentially available from the Marshall School of Business (these do not count toward the 24 units). Graduates benefit from professional development resources and extensive networking opportunities at one of the top-ranked law schools in the U.S.
