USC Leventhal’s MBT is designed to provide advanced training in business taxation for aspiring tax professionals. The program covers technical and conceptual tax knowledge, professional development, applied data analysis, tax research and life-long learning, ethical principles and professional standards, and globalization/diversity in taxation. The curriculum includes five core courses and electives, integrating tax law, corporate tax, accounting methods, multijurisdictional taxation, and data analytics. The MBT is STEM-designated, and there are tracks for both full-time students and working professionals (MBT.WP), with flexible on-campus and online options.
