USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a Concentration in Dance & Music. This concentration combines rigorous dance training with substantial music study, preparing students to collaborate across disciplines in choreography, dance performance, and the entertainment industry. Students take advanced dance technique, repertory and performance, composition, and guided music electives such as songwriting, music history, and instrumental/vocal lessons. The curriculum encourages interdisciplinary work with the USC Thornton School of Music, Cinematic Arts, and Dramatic Arts. The program culminates in a senior project integrating dance and music.
