The BS Business of Innovation (BUIN), launching Fall 2025, is a joint undergraduate degree from USC Iovine and Young Academy and the USC Marshall School of Business. The program integrates human-centered design, technology, business fundamentals, and culture, offering students a multidisciplinary curriculum that prepares them for leadership roles in innovative ventures. Students receive rigorous training in both creative project-based learning and comprehensive business education, develop skills in finance, management, data analytics, technology, and product development, and engage in real-world professional experiences. The unique curriculum includes experiential industry practicums, entrepreneurship competitions, and the capstone 'Garage Experience.'
