The Master of Science in Cybersecurity (Policy) at the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, Georgia Institute of Technology, is an interdisciplinary graduate program focused on public policy, law, and management aspects of cybersecurity. Students in the Policy track learn about the protection of cyber systems through a deep understanding of communications, information, and public policy. The curriculum covers essential cyber issues, including the organizational, societal, and legislative implications of cybersecurity, and equips graduates with skills to address cyber threats through institutional, legal, and regulatory strategies. The program is available both on campus and online, with the online version matching the content and rigor of the campus program, designed for busy professionals. Students must complete a set of common core courses in cybersecurity, policy electives, and a capstone practicum tackling real-world cybersecurity problems in organizational and policy contexts.
