The Bachelor of Health Science (Human Movement) at the University of Canberra is designed to provide both theoretical and practical knowledge related to human movement, exercise, and sport science. The program covers core areas such as exercise physiology, biomechanics, motor control, and exercise prescription. Students will acquire skills in physiological testing procedures and biomechanical analysis, gaining practical and research experience through both laboratory-based and workplace learning opportunities. Graduates will be equipped for careers in sport and recreation, strength and conditioning, public policy, sports coaching, research, and other health-related sectors, as well as prepared for further postgraduate studies.
