The Master of Arts in Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation at the University of Alberta prepares students for advanced careers in health, kinesiology, recreation, and sport management. The program offers both thesis-based and course-based routes, is student-centered and research-oriented, allowing for individualized programs of study tailored with a supervisor. Study areas encompass biological, behavioral, and socio-cultural aspects of human movement. Students will gain skills in analytical evaluation, program planning, research, writing, and time management, benefitting from interdisciplinary collaborations and research opportunities within and beyond the faculty.
