The program addresses both practice and theoretical issues across diverse healthcare settings. It features a distributed education model with core courses at Edmonton, Augustana (Camrose), and Calgary campuses. Students complete 90 units of coursework including interprofessional courses, a capstone project, and at least 28 weeks of fieldwork placements. The curriculum includes assessment and evaluation, occupation and society, evidence-based practice, research methods, and rehabilitation sciences. Upon graduation, students are equipped for provincial and national certification and prepared to critically evaluate and implement occupational therapy programs.
