The Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology at the University of Alberta offers one of the most comprehensive undergraduate programs in pharmacology in North America. The curriculum includes junior courses on the fundamentals of pharmacology and advanced electives in specialized topics such as cardiovascular pharmacology, neuropharmacology, endocrine pharmacology, pharmacogenomics, and molecular pharmacology. The program provides students with hands-on research opportunities through laboratory courses and research projects in the third and fourth years. Honours and Major streams are available; the Honours stream includes a research thesis.
