The Bachelor of Science in Forest Business Management at the University of Alberta is a collaborative program between the Faculty of Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences and the Alberta School of Business. The program prepares students for management careers in the forestry industry by integrating core forestry science with practical business management training. Through classroom and field school experiences, students develop skills in forest and land management, forestry operations, and business practices. Hands-on learning opportunities include three field schools and eligibility for the Alberta School of Business Co-op Program, providing paid work experience. Graduates are prepared for roles such as forester, forest economist, policy analyst, and are eligible to become Registered Professional Foresters (RPF).
