The MSW program at the University of Iowa College of Liberal Arts and Sciences prepares students for advanced social work practice and leadership. All students gain skills to work with individuals, families, and communities, advocating for social change. Two specializations are offered: Clinical Practice (focus on work with children, adults, groups, families in clinical settings) and Leadership Practice (focus on policy advocacy, organizational and program development, and community leadership).
