The Bachelor of Arts in French at the University of Iowa’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is designed to build advanced proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing French, while providing a broad understanding of the literatures and cultures of France and the French-speaking world. The program prepares students for careers in education, international relations, global business, and for graduate study. Students can pursue two primary tracks: Language, Literature, and Culture or French and Arabic.
