The Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) in Endodontics at Boston University's Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine is a three-year program designed to develop clinical proficiency in endodontics, combined with rigorous training in research. In the first year, students engage in a research project; in the second and third years, they participate in the Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Endodontics, complete their research, and write a master’s thesis. The curriculum covers both surgical and non-surgical endodontics, correlated basic and medical sciences, and integrates advanced research topics such as regenerative endodontics, dental stem cell biology, and clinical outcome studies. Completion of the MSD degree is required for granting of the CAGS.
