This joint master's programme is collaboratively offered by Karolinska Institutet, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and Stockholm University, conducted at the Science for Life Laboratory in Stockholm. The programme provides a comprehensive education in molecular life sciences, with a core focus on state-of-the-art molecular techniques for disease therapies and diagnostics, combined with rigorous training in bioinformatics and data analysis. Students gain exposure to cutting-edge research in molecular biology, genomics, high-throughput biology, computational and programming skills, and translational medicine. The curriculum fosters key skills for a research career and leadership in academia or the biotech/pharma industry, including scientific communication, teamwork, and ethical considerations. Graduates receive a joint MSc degree.
