The Master's Programme in Bioentrepreneurship at Karolinska Institutet is designed for students with backgrounds in biomedicine, pharmaceutics, biotechnology, healthcare or medicine who wish to pursue leadership and management positions in the life science and healthcare industries. The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, including two work-integrated placements at companies or organizations in Sweden or abroad, as well as a degree project often completed in a professional environment. Courses cover drug development, medical technology, diagnostics, business management, innovation, commercialization, and project management. The curriculum is interdisciplinary and involves collaborations with leading Stockholm institutions including KTH and the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship. Many lecturers are industry professionals from the life science sector.
