This program combines a theoretical and clinical specialist education in orthodontics, designed for dentists holding a university degree in Dental Surgery. The curriculum consists of comprehensive orthodontic theory, basic sciences, and clinical training. Residents treat a wide spectrum of orthodontic cases, starting with at least 70 patients, and participate in national and international academic activities. The program prepares students for diagnosis and care of orthodontic patients of all ages, with emphasis on ethics, leadership, research, and pedagogics. The schedule includes weekly clinical sessions, theory, research, self-study, and exposure to external courses, with a master's thesis as an integrated part.
