The Master's Programme in Nutrition Science at the Department of Biosciences and Nutrition, Karolinska Institutet, is a full-time two-year program designed to provide a broad and in-depth understanding of how diet influences human health, with a strong focus on scientific methodology, molecular mechanisms, and public health. The curriculum covers areas such as scientific evidence and sustainability in diet and health, molecular and genetic mechanisms in nutrition, assessment methods for dietary intake and fitness, disease prevention and intervention, and clinical management of nutrition-related diseases. Emphasis is placed on practical research projects and professional development, preparing graduates for advanced clinical, public health, or research careers, as well as further doctoral study.
