The Speech and Language Pathology Program at Karolinska Institutet is a four-year undergraduate professional degree program, taught in Swedish, totaling 240 ECTS credits. The curriculum integrates humanities, science, and medicine and prepares students with theoretical knowledge, practical clinical training, and research focus. The program covers normal and disordered speech, language, voice, and swallowing functions across the lifespan, emphasizing diagnosis, assessment, and intervention. Clinical practicum starts from the first year and continues in various medical, educational, and habilitation settings. The fourth year includes advanced studies and concludes with a master's thesis. Graduates are eligible to apply for the Swedish professional license to practice as a speech and language pathologist (logoped).
