Through the 4+1 program jointly offered by Emory College and Rollins School of Public Health, students can earn both a Bachelor of Arts or Science and an MSPH in Biostatistics in five years. This pathway is designed for undergraduates with strong quantitative backgrounds who are interested in research and a career in public health statistics. The MSPH trains students in statistical theory, biostatistical methods, public health sciences, and provides experience in data management, analysis, and statistical modeling relevant to real-world health problems. The program includes rigorous coursework, an applied practice experience, and an integrative learning project. MSPH graduates are well-prepared for roles in health agencies, pharmaceuticals, research institutes, or further doctoral study in biostatistics.
