The Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University offers 12 dual degree programs in collaboration with Emory’s Law, Medicine, Nursing, Business, Theology, and Graduate Schools. These programs allow students to integrate public health competencies with another professional discipline, preparing graduates for impactful interdisciplinary careers—examples include JD/MPH (Public Health Law), MD/MPH (Clinical/Population Health), MSN/MPH (Advanced Nursing Leadership), and MBA/MPH (Public Health Management). All MPH dual students complete at least 32-35 credit hours in public health, a 200-hour applied practice experience, and a capstone or thesis. Concentrations offered for the MPH component include Behavioral, Social, and Health Education Sciences; Environmental Health; Epidemiology; Global Epidemiology; Global Health; Health Policy & Management; and Global Environmental Health, depending on the pairing. Students must be admitted separately to each participating school. The GRE is not required for most dual programs; admission requires a statement of purpose, transcripts, recommendations, and meeting host-discipline prerequisites.
