Emory University School of Law’s LLM program equips law graduates (from the US or abroad) with a theoretical and practical foundation in law and allows significant curricular flexibility. Students may pursue a general LLM or specialize in up to six formal concentrations. The program is designed for individuals seeking to expand their legal expertise for practice or academic purposes. Students benefit from a rigorous curriculum, hands-on training opportunities, and access to a diverse faculty and student body. The program fosters an environment that encourages challenging legal thinking, collaboration, and professional development. LLM students can customize their coursework to their goals, integrating foundational and elective offerings in areas such as health law, international law, IP law, tax, and more. Orientation for Fall 2025 runs August 11-15; classes start August 18, 2025.
