The Master of Science (MSc) in Immunology (Thesis-based) at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary, provides advanced training in immunological research. Students gain foundational knowledge in immune system functions, host-pathogen interactions, and immunological mechanisms in disease. The program is interdisciplinary, involving the Faculties of Medicine, Science, and Veterinary Medicine, and gives students the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research as part of the Immunology Research Group (IRG). Graduates are well-prepared for doctoral research or professional careers in academia, clinical microbiology, biotechnology, government, and public health.
