The BSc (Hons) Learning Disabilities Nursing at Coventry University equips students to become professional nurses specialized in supporting people with learning disabilities. Combining theoretical and extensive practice-based learning (50% of program), the course prepares graduates for the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration. Students develop skills to deliver compassionate, evidence-informed, person-centered care in varied environments such as homes, schools, hospitals, and community settings. The curriculum focuses on holistic assessment, planning, and carrying out care, with training in multidisciplinary collaboration, digital literacy, and reflective practice. The program starts in September 2025.
