The International Business, Language, and Culture (IBLC) Bachelor of Science is a joint undergraduate program offered by Georgetown University’s College of Arts & Sciences and the McDonough School of Business. Launched for the class of 2026 and forward, the program combines a comprehensive business education (selected concentration: Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, or International Business) with an in-depth study of a chosen language and culture (such as Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and others). The curriculum is designed to foster both professional business skills and intercultural competence, requiring substantial coursework (24-40 credits) in language studies and 30-36 credits in business, integrating both into a holistic, interdisciplinary education. Students complete a university core, a joint school core, major-specific courses, and a capstone. Applicants must demonstrate language proficiency and quantitative skills through Georgetown coursework and are admitted after their first year following a competitive holistic review.
