The Global Business (GBUS) major at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service (SFS) is an interdisciplinary program designed to equip students to become leaders at the intersection of business, politics, economics, and culture. The curriculum integrates courses from the SFS and the McDonough School of Business, covering core business disciplines as well as global affairs. Students gain analytical tools in accounting, finance, marketing, and operations, and develop a deep understanding of the interactions between multinational firms and government, as well as the broader social and ethical context of international business. There are two main tracks: a standard business track and a finance-focused track. Graduates are prepared for leadership roles in the private and public sector globally.
