The MSc in Pharmacology at the University of Montreal is a research-focused program aimed at providing advanced knowledge in the fundamental mechanisms of drug action, the discovery of new therapeutic targets, and understanding the fate of drugs and other substances within the body—studied from molecular to organismal levels. Students conduct an original research project under a faculty supervisor, develop skills in critical thinking, data analysis, scientific communication (oral and poster), and complete a thesis. Seminar courses and research conferences are key parts of the training, designed to foster autonomy and expertise for careers in academia, industry, or further study.
