The Master of Bioinformatics (MSc) at Université de Montréal is an interdisciplinary graduate program combining advanced concepts from computer science and biology. It has two pathways: a research pathway (thesis-based) and an internship pathway (project-based). Students will acquire expertise in computational analysis of biological data, addressing the needs of industries such as medicine, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and academia. The program responds to recent developments in genomics and proteomics, offering advanced training to analyze large-scale biological datasets through collaborative approaches between life and computational sciences. Students benefit from state-of-the-art equipment and work with leading experts in the field.
