This undergraduate program is designed to train classical singers and instrumentalists who can perform at the highest professional standards and adapt to multidisciplinary and multicultural musical environments. Students receive intensive instruction with a primary teacher (such as a singing teacher or instrumental coach), as well as collaborative work with pianists and répétiteurs. The curriculum encompasses voice or instrument technique, style, diction, repertoire, theoretical and aural training, and public performance opportunities, including recitals, workshops, chamber music, and fully staged opera productions for vocalists. The program encourages versatility, allowing specialization (e.g., Baroque, Classical), while providing foundations in history, theory, writing, analysis, and research methods. It aims to produce musicians who can communicate their art within diverse contemporary contexts.
