The GWU College of Professional Studies Bachelor of Professional Studies in Cybersecurity is a degree completion program designed for students who have completed an associate’s, applied associate’s, or non-technical bachelor’s degree and want to further specialize in cybersecurity. The 120-credit program (including transfer credits) comprises a highly technical, hands-on curriculum delivered via interactive labs and virtual environments. Students learn about incident response, digital forensics, principles of cybersecurity, governance and risk, network and cloud security, IT audits, project management, cyber attack techniques, and more. The curriculum addresses both practical and theoretical aspects of defending modern digital landscapes, including public and private sector needs, and emphasizes direct collaboration with government agencies and private organizations.
