The Master of Science in Bioinformatics at Technical University of Munich (TUM), offered in partnership with Ludwig-Maximilian University of Munich (LMU), provides advanced training in the interdisciplinary field of bioinformatics. The curriculum integrates information sciences (informatics, mathematics, statistics) and life sciences (biology, chemistry, pharmacy, medicine, biotechnology, and food technology). Coursework and electives cover topics including algorithmic bioinformatics, sequence analysis, systems biology, chemoinformatics, genome analysis, databases, data mining, software engineering, and biostatistics.
