This program prepares students to teach Nutrition and Home Economics at vocational schools, providing advanced knowledge in these fields alongside educational sciences and pedagogy. It is part of TUM’s School of Education and focuses on interdisciplinary teacher training, combining specialist content with didactics, and is necessary for entering the public teaching sector or for academic careers related to educational science. The language of instruction is German. Graduates are qualified for the teacher training internship (Referendariat) and, after its completion, for teaching in public vocational schools or equivalent educational institutions.
