The Master of Urban Development and Design (MUrbDevDes) at the University of Queensland applies design thinking in an urban context, equipping graduates with advanced skills to shape urban environments globally. The program offers a transdisciplinary learning experience, combining project-based design studios with studies in infrastructure, policy, economics, and business leadership. Students develop expertise to address contemporary urban challenges such as sustainability, city growth, and climate change. The degree is taught by leading academics and industry professionals and is suitable for graduates who wish to engage with decision-makers and lead urban change in the 21st century. Classes are delivered in person at the St Lucia campus, with semester intakes in both February and July for 2025.
