The BA in Applied Psychology and Human Development at Boston College’s Lynch School of Education & Human Development provides students with a strong foundation in developmental and counseling psychology. This program emphasizes the understanding of human development across the lifespan, focusing on psychological processes in diverse contexts and integrating classroom learning with real-world, hands-on experiences. Students select a focus area (Human Services & Health Sciences; Organization Studies & Human Capital; Policy, Advocacy & Community Change; or Science of Learning) and complete a practicum. The curriculum prepares graduates for careers or further study in education, counseling, social services, human resources, organizational leadership, and related fields.
