The MSc ETH Civil Engineering program is designed to prepare students for independent, practical, or scientific professional work as civil engineers. The curriculum provides flexibility for students to focus on two specialisations among: Construction and Maintenance Management, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Transport Systems, Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management, and Materials and Mechanics. The program includes electives, digital and project-based electives, seminar work, project work, and the Master’s thesis. While an internship is highly recommended, it is not compulsory.
