The Master's degree programme in Earth Sciences at ETH Zurich focuses on understanding the Earth system with respect to its history, current relevance, and future development. The programme emphasizes multidisciplinary, practical education through fieldwork, laboratory experiments, computer exercises, analytical methods, numerical simulation, e-learning, case analyses, and team projects. Students select a major from Geology, Engineering Geology, Mineralogy and Geochemistry, or Geophysics, defining their main area of study.
