The Master’s degree program in Religious Studies at the Faculty of Theology, University of Zurich, focuses on expanding students’ knowledge and research competence in religious studies. The curriculum covers current topics and enables specialization in historical-comparative, social-scientific, or systematic-theoretical approaches. Students engage in independent research culminating in a Master’s thesis. The program can be pursued either as a single-major (120 ECTS), designed for depth and independent research, or as a major combined with a minor (90 ECTS major + 30 ECTS minor).
