Stony Brook University's Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Online (BSEEOL) is an upper-division, fully online program designed for students who have already completed lower-division prerequisite coursework—typically those with an associate degree or equivalent in a related field. The program offers rigorous training in the fundamentals of electrical engineering and is ABET accredited. Students will complete 66 upper-division credits (out of a typical 120 credits for graduation), focusing on engineering design, electronics, signals and systems, electromagnetics, ethics, and technical communications. The flexible, asynchronous format is suited for both traditional students seeking schedule flexibility and non-traditional students balancing work or family obligations. Graduates are prepared for careers in fields such as energy, communications, computer technology, finance, and aerospace, or for continued study at the graduate level.
