This is an official, inter-university master's degree coordinated by the University of Barcelona (Faculty of Geography and History) and supported by seven other Catalan universities. The program is interdisciplinary and provides advanced education on the intersection of gender, citizenship, and social justice. It offers two specializations: 1) Theory, Criticism and Culture (research focus) and 2) Women, Work and Public Policy (professional focus). Course delivery includes both face-to-face and online formats, allowing flexibility for students. Graduates are prepared for careers in research, public administration, policy analysis, social work, education, and gender equality advocacy. The program equips students with research and analytical skills to address gender disparities and promote policy change, in line with evolving equality legislation in Spain.
