The interuniversity Master's in Educational Psychology (MIPE) at the University of Barcelona is a two-year, 90-ECTS graduate program taught primarily in Spanish (80%), with additional instruction in Catalan (10%) and English (10%). Launched as a collaboration among several top Catalan universities, MIPE is recognized for educational excellence by AQU Catalunya. The curriculum spans three main pathways: Psychoeducational Intervention, Psychoeducational Guidance in Secondary Education, and Psychoeducational Research, each developing advanced expertise for roles such as school psychologist, educational guidance counselor, or academic researcher. The training focuses on the improvement of teaching and learning processes within schools, communities, and specialist educational contexts. Students are prepared for formal accreditation as educational psychologists in both formal and non-formal environments, including schools, guidance teams, research institutions, and educational consulting. Completion of the research pathway provides direct access to doctoral studies.
